以往的研究高度评价施琅将军进击澎湖、统一台湾并力主留台的丰功伟绩.近二十年来,时有标新立异之说,甚至附会庸俗政治,混淆是非黑白,蓄意诋毁抹黑.今就施琅与澎湖海战、台湾弃留、请封"天后"等争议问题进行辨析.
Abstract
General Shi Lang's great contribution to history,i.e.,his military expedition to Penghu Islands,his Conquest of Taiwan,and his insistence in keeping Taiwan as part of China's territory,has long been highly acknowledged in related research-es.In recent years,however,there were various revisionist attempts in this field to denigrate him,distorting historical facts and making farfetched claims for the sake of vulgar politics.This paper aims to set the record right by tackling alleged controversies over issues such as the Battle of Penghu,Shi's position in the debate of abandoning Taiwan or keeping Taiwan,and his pleading with the Qing Court for the title of"Tianhou"to be bestowed to the sea goddess Mazu.
