The proses of Taiwan not only inherit the cultural tradition since the May 4th Movement in our country,but also are influenced by external cultures.Therefore,the prose creation in Taiwan has been increasingly diverse in form and theme.Lin Wenyue embodies the triple roles of scholar,writer,and translator.She has extensively studied classics from various times and countries,continuously surpassed herself to promote innovation in prose form through the methods of"crossing boundaries"and"imitating the ancients"and adhered to the creative principles of"sincerity"and"non-fiction"in writing.Her prose writing often employs thematic writing strategies,covering topics such as memoir,travel note and culinary culture,establishing a model for prose writing and elevating contemporary prose of Taiwan to a professional level.This paperexplores the themes of her prose writ-ing and categorizes the themes,analyzing her writing features and interest orientations.
