The Impact of Chinese International Students' Professional Perception on College Life——Taking the Immersion of Dance Majors in South Korea as a Parameter
This study conducted a survey of 201 Chinese international students majoring in dance in the 4-year universities in Seoul and Gyeonggi-Do to examine the relationship amongprofessional awareness,professional immersion,and adaption to college life.The collected data underwent multiple regression analysis and mediation regression analysis with the SPSS 26.0 sta-tistical program.The resultsshow that 1)all the sub-variables of major awareness have a positive effect on professional immer-sion;2)satisfaction with professor-student relationships and department awareness have a positive effect on academic perfor-mance in adapting to college life;3)satisfaction with subjects and interest in professional studies have a positive effect on the so-cial aspect of adapting to college life;4)satisfaction with subjects,interest inprofessional studies have a positive effect on the per-sonal emotional effects of adapting to college life.Based on the results and discussions,the authorssuggest that university and de-partment-level support be provided in order to provide rich experiences to international students.
