In recent years,China has paid special attention to the protection,census and photocopying of ancient books to carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture,and six volumes of The Selected Works of the Ming Dynasty have been published successively,which greatly facilitates the researchers on the literature,history of the Ming Dynasty and other disci-plines.In particular,the collection of Fujian writers'works is of great benefit to the study of Fujian and Taiwan culture.Howev-er,the Collection has a defect that the six series consist of 600 books with thousands of subdivisions but there are no correspond-ing narrations.Only by direct review can researchers understand the episodes.In view of the needs of the study of Fujian and Tai-wan culture,narrations on the Fujian writers'works are provided,for the reference of relevant scholars.
