A Probe into the Problems of Course Teaching and Textbook Construction for Japanese Majors in Local Universities:Based on the Survey Data of Japanese Majors in 16 Local Universities
Based on the questionnaire survey data of 436 students majoring in Japanese in 16 local universities, this paper studies the current situation and problems in the course teaching and textbook construction of Japanese majors in local universities in China from the perspective of students by using mathematical statistics. There are findings in 2 aspects. In terms of course teach-ing,foreign teachers are expected and welcomed, but there is a phenomenon that foreign teachers' course resources are misplaced;foreign teachers' courses can mainly improve Japanese students' listening and speaking ability, but the improvement of Japanese reading, writing and translation ability is quite limited;the teaching methods of Japanese major teachers are quite traditional and conservative, and there is a mismatch between the teaching methods they use most often and the teaching methods students like most, which makes it difficult to fully reflect the student-centered students' subjectivity. Moreover,Japanese course content being not attractive with too much emphasis on theoretical knowledge instead of cultural edification, many studentsare passive learner-sand not interested in learning. In terms of the construction of teaching materials, the current Japanese textbooks in local universi-ties are moderate and practical, but many students think that the teaching materials are difficult and outdated. According to the re-search findings, this paper puts forward the corresponding improvement suggestions.
