esearch on Performance Assessment and Evaluation System for Teaching-Position Educators in Universities:Guided by Developmental Principle
The current performance evaluation and assessment system for university teachers on teaching positions has prob-lems such as single indicators,imbalanced structure,and lack of feedback mechanisms. Therefore,a development-oriented sys-tem should be established for research and construction. Using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP),adopting a "hierarchical classification" performance allocation model and a hierarchical structure model,this article designs evaluation indicators cover-ing multiple aspects such as teacher ethics and conduct,determines data sources and assessment methods,designs indicator weights and verifies them,and establishes feedback mechanisms at the same time. This system is conducive to improving the teaching and research level of teachers,enhancing comprehensive development,and upgrading the quality of higher education. It can also provide reference for the construction of the assessment and evaluation system for university teachers.
