On the Basic Characteristics and Goal Orientation of the Party's Internal Supervision System in the New Era
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jin-ping as the core has officially proposed the new important concept of'Party internal supervision system'and made strategic deploy-ments to improve the Party internal supervision system.This reflects the deepening of Party internal supervision,the expansion of the field of Party internal supervision,and the upgrading of Party internal supervision goals.The internal supervision system of the Party in the new era includes three basic elements:the subject of internal supervision,the object of internal supervision,and the content of in-ternal supervision,as well as the connecting elements of system,technology,and direction.From a natural and normative perspective,the internal supervision system of the Party in the new era should have four basic characteristics:each fulfilling its responsibilities and demonstrating its abilities in the subject aspect,differences in the object aspect under the premise of universality,top-down direction,balance between bottom-up and peer level,and a combination of institutional and technological means.Its goal orientation should in-clude adhering to the Party's leadership,fundamentally strengthening the Party's work style and solving corruption problems,reducing the cost of Party's internal supervision,forming a closed loop of the Party's internal supervision,and ensuring the continuous opera-tion of the the Party's internal supervision system.
