From Intergenerational Divide to Inclusive Accessibility:the Integration and Innovation of the Age-friendly Digital Rural Public Services
Promoting the age-friendly digital rural public services is the important content of digital ethics, digital efficiency en-hancement,and digital feedback. It can help achieve rural revitalization, promote the equalization of basic public services,opportuni-ties,bridge the intergenerational digital divide, and provide key support for promoting common prosperity in rural areas.However,lim-ited by the dual structure of urban and rural areas and the natural attributes of rural areas, the integration of the age-friendly digital ru-ral public services still faces practical difficulties such as the coexistence of"government-led"and"market vacancy"in public service supply,"structural imbalance"and"regional compensation"in resources allocation,"low-end short chain"and"insufficient trans-formation"in industrial foundation, which are not conducive to the"digital access","digital integration",and"digital empathy"of the elderly population. Therefore, promoting the integration of the age-friendly digital public services in rural areas should aim to be"universal, accessible, and inclusive",with a focus on"improving the digital literacy of younger-elderly people, and the elderly peo-ple enjoying digital life"in the future. It should strengthen the"demand-resource-skill as the orientation,interface-behavior-emotion as the field, and individual-society-government as the synergy",and accelerate the construction of a new model of rural digital govern-ance,aiming to bridge the digital divide among the elderly population in rural areas and unleash the dividends of new rural populations.
