A Tentative Study on Cultural Identity Changes in Southwest Frontier Areas after the Bureaucratization of Native Officers in the Qing Dynasty
As an important event that has a profound impact on the development of Chinese history,Bureaucratization of Native Of-ficers plays an important historical role in promoting national unity,peace and stability,the formation and development of the Chinese nation community,and the recognition of Chinese culture.The large-scale of this reform began in the Qing Dynasty,and the southwest China is an important area.By comparing the cultural identity status before and after the Qing Dynasty's Bureaucratization of Native Of-ficers in southwest frontier areas,three characteristics of cultural identity changes can be summarized:The"integration"change of po-litical and cultural identity has changed from"indirect"to"direct";The change of"Confucianization"of ideological and cultural i-dentity has changed from"privileged"to"universal";The change of"blending"of national cultural identity has moved from"limit-ed"to"comprehensive".An in-depth summary of the historical experience and laws of changes in cultural identity in the Bureaucrati-zation of Native Officers of southwest frontier areas during the Qing Dynasty can provide wisdom and enlightenment for today's work to strengthen the sense of community of the Chinese nation and deepen Chinese cultural identity.
