教育家精神对于"为党育人,为国育才"具有根本性意义,需从教育哲学上加以省察思考。教育家精神是自性的而非先验存在或外在赋予的,是教育家之为教育家的自为性和根本性规定。教育家精神既孕育于社会文化和时代精神,更生成于教育家的精神实践,证成教育家的精神实践对理解教育家精神的生成具有重要意义。在教育家精神的丰富内涵中,其精神根蒂是伦理—德性精神和科学—理性精神的融合。教育家精神的价值主要表现为教育家的自我提升价值、对学生成长的价值以及与时代精神的互补价值。防止功利化、世俗化和平庸化对教育家精神之纯粹性、崇高性和卓越性的侵蚀和僭越,是避免教育家精神沦落的重要选择。
Philosophical Reflection on the Spirit of Educators
The spirit of educators holds fundamental significance in"cultivating talents for the Party and the State"and requires philosophical scrutiny and reflection.The spirit of educators is of the Self rather than apriori existence or externally imposed,which is the self-determining and fundamental prescription of being an educator.Then,the spirit of educators is not only nurtured in social cul-ture and spirit of the times,but also originates from the spiritual practices of educators,which justifies that the spiritual practices of ed-ucators has important significance in understanding the genesis of the spirit of educators.Among the rich connotations of the spirit of ed-ucators,its spiritual foundation lies in the integration of ethical-moral spirit and scientific-rational spirit.The value of the spirit of edu-cators is mainly manifested in self-improvement of educators,growth of students,and complementation with spirit of the times.Preven-ting the erosion and transgression of utilitarianism,secularization,and mediocrity on the purity,nobility,and excellence of the spirit of educators is an important choice to avoid its decline.
