The paper reviews the opportunity of using useful components in ash from wastewood combustion to complement the lack of macro- and microelements contained in some damaged soils in order to reintegrate them for agricultural purposes. The effect of soil composition, ash composition and ash charge over soil quality and vegetable material production are reviewed.
