We conclude that the two-state model is the best performing model for the bam. One state model does not capture the thermal dynamics well enough, and the three-state model is overparameterized. The future directives are to fine tune the models by introducing process noise and white noise models with CTSM in R and use the optimize models to develop control strategies for fans to reduce the energy usage.
