A Nonparametric Estimator for Interval System Availability

In this paper, we study the interval availability of a repairable system through a system of integral equations. A new nonparametric estimator of interval system availability is proposed. This estimator is asymptotically consistent. Multiple numerical simulations are presented to demonstrate the efficient numerical performance of the new estimator.
