At the end of the week ending Friday March 8, nickel and zinc hit fresh highs at the London Metal Exchange Friday on follow-through buying, as funds and speculators continued buying spree after breaking key resistance levels. "Both metals were looking fairly confident after yesterday's rally and people seemed happy to back it just on the technicals," said an LME dealer. "The question now is whether these levels can be sustained."
