Towards the Stability of Waveform Relaxation in Distributed Process Co-Simulation

扫码查看
Within the Carbon2Chem~R collaborative research project, mathematical models are used to simulate operational scenarios of cross-industrial networks, particularly chemical plants implemented in a steel mill environment. In this context the distributed co-simulation is used, which enables the independent development of the constituent subsystems. The underlying waveform relaxation algorithm is examined and evaluated with regard to its stability and convergence characteristics when calculating the solution in comparison to the monolithic modeling approach.
