Toho Zinc to fund 3M Australia dollars feasibility study at Broken Hill

Australian miner Consolidated Broken Hill has reached a agreement with Japan's largest lead producer Toho Zinc to fund a feasibility study and drilling program for a new two million metric ton per year underground zinc, lead and silver mine at Broken Hill in New South Wales. Toho will provide 1 million Australia dollars in equity and 2 million Australia dollars in loan drilling funds to enable completion of a bankable feasibility study for development of the Western Mineralisation area as a bulk underground mining operation producing 100,000-120,000 tons of zinc concentrates and 50,000-60,000 tons of lead concentrates.
