State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has been appointed as the new operating agency (OA) to rehabilitate the ailing Aluminium Industries Ltd (Alind). At its last hearing, the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR) had asked SBT to take over as the operating agency. Befoore the BIFR decision, Industrial Investment Bank of India (IIBI) was the QA.
