In previous publications the author developed a robustand reliable algorithm for solving (k-?) finite element models ofturbulent flows [1-5].In the present paper, the developed analysis capability isapplied to the analysis of :(i) The submerged entry nozzle (SEN) in the mold of a continuous caster round.(ii) the tundish of a continuous casting installation.
