It has been proposed that bubbling in a tundish couldremove small inclusions. A cold modelling study of inclusionremoval has demonstrated that fine particles can be readily removedfrom a tundish fluid and that this removal is sensitive to fluid depth,casting rate, gas floweret and bubbler position.
