Performance Enhancement of WSN Using Improved Cooperative Caching Scheme

The recent developments in wireless sensor networks (WSN) is to make it energy efficient which gives an idea to deploy these networks in applications like environment monitoring, habitat monitoring, military surveillance, disaster warning system etc. These sensor devices are used in unattended environment and due to this it is not feasible to charge or replace their batteries. We can prolong the lifetime of the sensor network by using the cooperative caching and hence decrease the energy consumption of a sensor node. In this paper we are studying various previous techniques of cooperative caching to minimize delay and reduce battery consumption in the network.
