Russia's largest nickel, copper and precious metals producer Norilsk Nickel will resume exports of nickel in February, the company said last Thursday. Exports were suspended at the end of December 2001 due to low global prices. Norilsk Nickel is planning to export about 57000 metric tons of nickel in February. This year exports of nickel are expected to remain at around 2001 levels of 177,400 tons, the company said.
