Russian metals giant Norilsk Nickel exported 108,700 metric tolls of nickel during the first half of tile year, up 27.9 percent on the same period of 2001, an official at the company said. This does not include shipments made as collateral for a 200-million U.S. dollars three-year ball, organized by CSFB earlier this year, for which Norilsk said it shipped a further 60,000 tolls. The collateral was however included in Russian official customs
