    查看更多>>摘要:In order to solve problems involved in a curved typecontinuous caster and to achieve high casting speed by controlling thesteel flow in the mold, an electromagnetic mold brake ruler (EMBR)using a static magnetic field was installed at No.2 continuous castingplant of Kwangyang Works, POSCO. Numerical modelling and planttests were carried out to optimize the core type and operatingcondition of the EMBR.
