查看更多>>摘要:Knema plants {Myristicaceae family),which comprise over 80 tropical evergreen trees,are found in Southeast Asian countries with a characteristic red resin in the bark,referred to a word meaning"blood"in their local name.Knema saxatilis WJ.de Wilde,called"mau-cho,"is an endemic plant in Vietnam,growing in the mountain slopes or low hills of the central provinces [1 ].In folk medicine,Knema plant oils have been used for pimples and skin diseases [2].Knema plant extracts and their active components possess a wide range of biological activities such as anticancer,antibacterial,and acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activities [3-6].Previous studies focused on the chemical composition of the stem barks or trunk woods,which contain the red resin,with phenol lipid derivatives including anacardic acids,resorcinols,cardanols,and acetophenones found as major compounds [4-9],In addition,several lignans [10,11],stilbenes [12],and flavonoids [3,13] were also isolated from Knema species.In our continuing study on Vietnamese Knema plants [9],a total of 15 compounds including three sterols(1-3),a lignan(9),a sesquiterpene(7),a phenolic acid(4),and nine flavonoids(5,6,8,10-15)have been isolated from the leaves of K.saxatilis.On comparison of their physical and spectroscopic data with published values,they were identied as stigmast-4-ene-3,6-dione(1)sitoindoside I(2),5β-hydroxysitostanol(3),vanillic acid(4),kaempferol(5),3'-O-methylorobol(6),clovan-2β,9α-diol(7),luteolin(8)(+)-isolariciresinol(9),astragalin(10),(+)-catechin(11),isoquercitrin(12),dehydrocatechin A(13),proanthocyanidin A1(14),and biochanin A(15).This is the first report on the chemical constituents of Knema saxatilis.Among the isolated compounds,compounds 1-7,lignan 9,and flavonoid dimers 13,14 were reported for the first time from the genus Knema.
