查看更多>>摘要:A new brazed monolayer diamond grinding wheel is developed with the same continuous cutting edge distance on the wheel surface. Surface/subsurface damage of yttria partially stabilized zirconia (Y-PSZ) in grinding using monolayer brazed diamond wheel is analyzed. In this investigation, the influence of the maximum undeformed chip thickness (h_m) on material removal mechanism is analyzed. The experiment results show that the ground surface is almost in ductile material removal mode when h_m is below the critical value for Y-PSZ, otherwise it will be the combined removal modes of brittle and ductile when h_m is above the critical value.

Firstly, wiener filter based on parameter estimate is used to restore path image in HIS model. Secondly, mutivariate stepwise fitted regression method is adopted to smooth guide line edge of path image. It can be concluded that path guide line of automatic guided vehicle under industry surrounding may be recognized accurately through this way.
查看更多>>摘要:Cold air cutting is a kind of environmentally friendly cutting technology. The present study investigated the influence of cold air and cold air with oil mist on cutting temperature, cutting force and tool wear in the machining of Cr12 tool steel. For comparision, dry and flood coolant was also used as the cooling/lubrication conditions in the experiments. The findings of the study show that cold air with oil mist was the most effective cooling/lubrication condition in reducing the cutting temperature, cutting force and tool wear during the machining of Cr12 tool steel.
查看更多>>摘要:Deformation caused by residual stress has been one of the main reasons influencing the machining accuracy, studies on machining residual stress should be performed. The tool flank wear on the cutting process has great influence on cutting heat which will infulence the distribution of residual stress, therefore,we should do the finite element simulation of cutting tool flank wear on the heat-affected firstly,then simulate and forecast the surface residual stress, studies on the effect of tool flank wear on the distribution of machined surface residual stress Johnson-Cook's coupled thermal-mechanical model is used as workpiece material model, thermal-displacement coupled brick are used to mesh, while friction between tool and work piece uses modified Coulomb's law whose slide friction area is combined with sticking friction. By means of FEA, residual stress on the machined surface and cutting temperature under different tool flank wear conditions are obtained. The results are compared and analyzed, and then we can get the fundamental influencing law on machined surface residual stress of tool flank wear.

In practical application, different fin parameters and fin structures are required. Aiming to obtain different fin structures, the determination of the geometric parameters of the fins is discussed; according to the affects of the side cutting edge on the fin shapes, different fin structures under different side cutting edges are analyzed; which can provide guidance to obtain different fin structures under different applications.
查看更多>>摘要:Holes making process is widely applied in die steel machining, Helical milling a hole, also called orbital drill, is hole making process by milling in which the center of end mill orbits around the center of the hole while spinning on its axis and moving in the axial direction. The paper presents the secondary regression prediction model of the holes surface roughness for helical milling of die-steel. To minimize the number of experiments for the design parameters, response surface methodology (RSM) with orthogonal rotatable central composite design is used. By means of variance analyses and additional cutting experiments, the adequacy of this model is confirmed. The model will be helpful in selecting cutting conditions to meet surface finish requirements in helical milling operation.
查看更多>>摘要:Diamond convex surface films were synthesized on molybdenum substrate using DC plasma Jet CVD (DCPJCVD), and their microstructure and topography were characterized by those techniques such as X ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy respectively. It showed that, when the substrate was pre-treated by polishing using successive micron diamond powder (about 30~3μm), diamond film was a polycrystalline texture and (111) faces were dominant. Raman spectrum shows that high quality diamond convex surface film was prepared successfully. Meantime, We used Finite element methods (FEM) to simulate the velocity, pressure and temperature fields of reaction chamber respectively, and it indicated that the distribution of the velocity, pressure fields were fluctuant, which had negative influence on diamond film, but the temperature fields is uniform, and it is an important factor to prepare high quality diamond convex surface film.

The proposed mechine tool is composed of a 2-TPR/2-TPS special 4-DOF parallel mechanism in series with a rotatable component. The structure of this machine tool is simple. The machine tool can process the workpieces which have complex surfaces. The structural characteristics of this machine tool is introduced. The position inverse solution of this machine tool is deduced by analytical method and the position forward solution of this machine tool is achieved by numerical method.

查看更多>>摘要:The performance of CVD diamond coated cemented carbide cutting tool in comparison with K10 uncoated cemented carbide tool in the dry turning of Al-20wt%Si aluminum-silicon hypereutectic alloy was investigated. The obtained results showed a better cutting performance for CVD diamond coated tool in machining Al-20wt%Si, particularly in terms of cutting force, tool wear, surface roughness, when compared with K10. The cutting forces are lower with CVD diamond coated tool and the depth of cut promotes a great increment of the cutting force. The tool wear processes taking place in the tool tips in all cutting conditions. The tool life of CVD diamond coated tool is longer than that of the uncoated K10. The surface roughness Ra increases obviously with the increase of feed rate using a CVD diamond coated cutting tool. A higher feed rate produces surface rougher. The chip morphology in machining of Al-20wt%Si alloy by CVD diamond coated tool is continuous. The tests showed that the CVD diamond coated tool can be applied on the K10 tool at low feed rate to produce high quality surfaces.
