The energy saving measures adopted in design of these refineries are analyzed and discussed. Finally, this article also makes comments and puts forward recommendations on the objectives for energy conservation at refineries in the future.

    查看更多>>摘要:The No. 2 Chemical Plant of Daqing Petrochemical Company in collaboration with the Harbin Devi Automation Equipment Development Company, Ltd. has adopted the model-free control system in the oxo-synthesis reactor of the butanol/octanol unit to completely solve the issues of stabilized control over the CO concentration in the reactor in an attempt to optimize the reaction condition in the oxo-synthesis reactor in relation to the reaction feedstock, resulting in a significant reduction of discharge of the reaction tail gas and decreased unit consumption of propylene.

    Status of China's Refined Oil Products Consumption and Forecast on Demand During the '11th Five-Year Plan' Period

    查看更多>>摘要:The author used two common methods in this industry, i. e. the "Consumption Coefficient Method" and the "Elasticity Coefficient Trend Method", to forecast the refined oil product demand in 2010. Through analyzing and comparing the two forecast results, it is projected that the demand for finished product oils in 2010 will be in the range of 220 to 240 million tons a year. In addition, out of concern about the total oil products consumption to exceed 600 million tons/year in 2020, the author puts forward suggestions and measures aimed at conservation of oil products and application of alternative fuels.

The investment in this unit is expected to reach 2.36 billion RMB, and startup of the said unit is slated for the fourth quarter of 2008. Construction of this 1.13Mt/a methanol project in addition to the already coming on stream 600 kt/a methanol unit and the 200 kt/a unit of the Mongolian Tianye Chemical Company will expand the methanol production capacity of this company to 2.0 Mt/a.

This project will adopt the third generation process for manufacture of ethyl benzene via catalytic alkylation of benzene with dry gas developed by the CAS Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics and the process for manufacture of styrene via de-hydrogenation of ethyl benzene jointly developed by the SINOPEC Shanghai Petrochemical Research Institute, the East China University of Science and Technology and the Shang-hai Pharmaceutical Design Institute, while using the ethyl-ene-rich dry gas, which is a byproduct produced by the DCC unit at this company, as the feedstock.

    查看更多>>摘要:This article introduces the commercial application of FCC technology equipped with a gasoline auxiliary reactor in the RFCC unit at PetroChina Harbin Petrochemical Branch Company. Test results have shown the excellent outcome for commercial application of the gasoline upgrading in the auxiliary reactor to reduce the olefin content in FCC naphtha. Application of this technology can reduce the olefin content in FCC naphtha to less than 35 v%. Adjustment of the FCC operation towards more severe conditions can further reduce the olefin content in FCC naphtha to less than 20 v%, so that the FCC naphtha can meet the current standard or meet more stringent specification requirements in the future to achieve compelling economic and social benefits.

With the quick development of China's methanol industry, the total methanol capacity including that of existing units, units under construction and planned grassroots methanol units will reach 60 Mt/ a by 2010 and 70 Mt/a by 2015.
