Patent Application Titled 'Microservices Anomaly Detection' Published Online (US PTO 20240396919)

    166-170页
查看更多>>摘要:Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors: “In acomputer networked environment, an instrumentation servi ce can evaluate various measured metrics usinganomaly detection techniques for anomalies in individual nodes of the network or communications amongnodes. Anom aly detection techniques may lead to over-counting (e.g., false positives) or un der-counting(e.g., false negatives) of anomalies. Over-counting may result in t he service making too many detectionsand sending too many notices of anomalies to a system administrator. The system administrator may beoverwhelmed with aler ts regarding false positive anomalies and may be unable to check each, thereby nullifying the efforts of the service. Conversely, under-counting of anomalies ma y result in issues in thenetworked environment remaining unchecked. Either resu lt may lead to an increase in issues as ignoredanomalies exacerbate any remaini ng problems in the environment.”

Researchers Submit Patent Application, 'Method For Producing A Component From Cu rable Material And Corresponding Component', for Approval (USPTO 20240391136)

In principle, such structur es or parts of these structures can be produced in two different ways.Work can be done on-site using formwork, which is then filled with what is referred to as in-situ concrete,it being possible for additional reinforcements to be introdu ced for load-bearing parts. It is then leftuntil the concrete has partially or fully cured, after which the formwork can be removed, cleaned and thenused agai n. The process is time-consuming and requires the use of a large number of emplo yees on theconstruction site.

Patent Issued for Order fulfillment system (USPTO 12151885)

    174-177页
查看更多>>摘要:From the background information supplied by the inventors, news correspondents o btained the followingquote: “2. BACKGROUND“An order-fulfillment system for use in supply chains, for example in retail sup ply chains, may fulfillorders for individual product units, referred to herein as “eaches” (also called “pieces”, “articles”, “items”or, generally, any articl es available for purchase in retail as a purchase unit, etc.), which are typical lypackaged and shipped by the manufacturer in containers known as “cases”. The “each” as used hereinfor convenience purposes, may be considered the most granu lar unit of handling in retail supply chains.Conventional operations to fulfill orders for eaches (usually referred to as “each-picking” or “piece-picking”)ar e generally labor-intensive because they generally apply man-to-goods processes that are not highlyautomated.

Researchers Submit Patent Application, 'Battery State Of Health Estimation Based On Real-Time Data', for Approval (USPTO 20240391352)

查看更多>>摘要:No assignee for this patent application has been made.News editors obtained the following quote from the background information suppli ed by the inventors:“Electric vehicles (EVs) may use rechargeable batteries, su ch as lithium-ion batteries or other types ofbatteries, as a power source. Such rechargeable batteries may have a limited lifespan. For example, asa battery i s repeatedly charged and discharged, the state of health (SOH) of the battery ma y degradeover time. The SOH may be representative of the current condition of t he battery in comparison to theideal condition of the battery. Examples of SOH parameters that are indicative of a battery’s conditionmay include battery capa city, internal resistance/impedance/conductance, supplied voltage or amperage,t endency to self-discharge, and ability to accept a charge. Factors that may cont ribute to battery SOHdegradation may include operator driving patterns, environ mental conditions under which the vehicle isoperated and stored, infrastructure and terrain over which the vehicle is operated, vehicle properties (e.g.,vehic le weight, aerodynamics), number of charge/discharge cycles, extent to which the battery is fullycharged and/or fully discharged at each cycle, and the age of the battery. Although battery SOH is an important consideration, accurately pred icting the SOH and the effects that certain activities and eventswill have on t he SOH can be challenging.”
