    NYU Tandon researchers selected for National Artificial Intelligence Research Re source Pilot to enhance AI vision models

    查看更多>>摘要:By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Robotics & Machine Learning Daily News Daily News – An NYU Tandon School of Engineering pr oject led by Chinmay Hegde - Associate Professor in the Department of Computer S cience and Engineering and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering - is one of the first 35 initiatives selected for the National Artificial Intel ligence Research Resource (NAIRR) Pilot by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) and Department of Energy, a result of President Biden’s Executive Order on the Safe, Secure and Trustworthy Development and Use of AI. The NAIRR Pilot aims to connect U.S. researchers and educators with the computat ional power, data resources, and training capabilities essential for advancing r esponsible AI research. Federal agencies are collaborating with government-suppo rted and non-governmental partners in this preparatory step toward an eventual f ull NAIRR implementation.
