According to news reporting originating from Hefei, Peo ple’s Republic of China, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Recent year s have witnessed numerous technical breakthroughs in connected and autonomous ve hicles (CAVs).” Our news reporters obtained a quote from the research from Anhui University: “On the one hand, these breakthroughs have significantly advanced the development o f intelligent transportation systems (ITSs); on the other hand, these new traffi c participants introduce more complex and uncertain elements to ITSs from the so cial space. Digital twins (DTs) provide real-time, data-driven, precise modeling for constructing the digital mapping of physical-world ITSs. Meanwhile, the met averse integrates emerging technologies such as virtual reality/mixed reality, a rtificial intelligence, and DTs to model and explore how to realize improved sus tainability, increased efficiency, and enhanced safety. More recently, as a lead ing effort toward general artificial intelligence, the concept of foundation mod el was proposed and has achieved significant success, showing great potential to lay the cornerstone for diverse artificial intelligence applications across dif ferent domains. In this article, we explore the big models embodied foundation i ntelligence for parallel driving in cyber-physical-social spaces, which integrat e metaverse and DTs to construct a parallel training space for CAVs, and present a comprehensive elucidation of the crucial characteristics and operational mech anisms.”

According to news reporting out of Cluj Napoca, R omania, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “This study assesses the impact of s ocioeconomic and cultural factors that are likely to have effects on the develop ment of artificial intelligence at the national level.” The news editors obtained a quote from the research from Babes-Bolyai University : “This technology is evaluated both globally and in terms of its components: qu alified users, technical capabilities, regulations, societal support, academic s upport, algorithms and platforms, support from public authorities, and private e conomic initiatives. Socioeconomic determinants include economic development and the speed of economic growth, funding for education and research and developmen t, high-tech exports, urbanisation, population, and workforce. Cultural determin ants are represented by national aggregate Hofstede’s cultural indicators. The a vailable data cover 60 countries from all continents and the period from 2012 to 2022. The research methodology employs hierarchical clustering and robust cross -sectional regression models to avoid heteroscedasticity. The main results indic ate highly significant effects of GDP per capita, its growth rate, research and development funding, and the degree of urbanisation.”

This study presents an effective approach to au tomating the classification of TLEs using state-of-the-art Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and a Vision Transformer (ViT). The ViT architecture and four di fferent CNN architectures, namely, ResNet50, ResNet18, GoogLeNet, and SqueezeNet , are employed and their performance is evaluated based on their accuracy and ex ecution time. The models are trained on a dataset that was augmented using rotat ion, translation, and flipping techniques to increase its size and diversity. Ad ditionally, the images are preprocessed using bilateral filtering to enhance the ir quality. The results show high classification accuracy across all models, wit h ResNet50 achieving the highest accuracy.”
