Each of U.S. pat ent application Ser. No. 17/494,664 (filed on Oct. 5, 2021)and U.S. Provisional Patent Application Ser. No. 63/088,162 (filed on Oct. 6, 2020) disclose example sof robotic automated food preparation systems that may be used to fry consumab le items such as Frenchfries, onion rings, chicken, and other related consumabl e items.

'Robotic Fluid Spraying Control System With Spray Tip Wear Compensation' in Pate nt Application Approval Process (USPTO 20240367191)

    130-133页
查看更多>>摘要:The following quote was obtained by the news editors from the background informa tion supplied bythe inventors: “A fluid spraying system can be used to spray a fluid from a fluid source to an applicationarea. For example, paint can be spra yed by an applicator, such as a spray gun or head having a spray tip,to a wall or other target surface. Some spraying systems employ robotic components that su pport theapplicator on a control module that controls the flow of paint through the spray tip (e.g., to start, stop,and/or control paint thickness, etc.). Fur ther, the robotic components are carried on a movable framehaving actuators tha t control the positioning of the spray tip relative to the surface.

Patent Issued for Long-range object detection, localization, tracking and classi fication for autonomous vehicles (USPTO 12136271)

    133-136页
查看更多>>摘要:Reporters obtained the following quote from the background information supplied by the inventors:“Autonomous vehicles, for instance, vehicles that do not requi re a human driver, can be used to aidin the transport of passengers or items fr om one location to another. Such vehicles may operate in afully autonomous mode where passengers may provide some initial input, such as a pickup or destinatio nlocation, and the vehicle maneuvers itself to that location. Autonomous vehicl es are equipped with varioustypes of sensors in order to detect and respond to objects in the surroundings. For example, autonomousvehicles may include sonar, radar, camera, LIDAR, and other devices that scan and record data from thevehi cle’s surroundings.

Researchers Submit Patent Application, 'Entity Cards Including Descriptive Conte nt Relating to Entities from a Video', for Approval (USPTO 20240370494)

For example,in a video about the Egyptian pyramids, the term “sarcophagus” may be an important co ncept which isdiscussed extensively. However, a user not familiar with the term “sarcophagus” may not fully understandthe content of the video. The user may p ause the video and navigate to a search page to perform asearch for the term “s arcophagus.” In some instances, the user may have difficulty spelling the term which they wish to search for and may not obtain accurate search results or may e xperience inconveniencein searching. In other instances, the user may stop watc hing the video after finding the content of thevideo too difficult to understan d.”

Russian Information Disorder in Colombia? The Case of RT’s Inna Afinogenova on T witter

It investigates the role of inorganicaccounts in amplifying political disinformation using the “information disorder” framework. Data werecollected from her most viral posts over 54 months (January 2017 - July 2021), and users i nteracting withthem were classified as organic or inorganic, with further subdi visions, such as: inorganic, highly suspicious, suspicious, and organic. An unsu pervised machine learning algorithm and a theoretical framework jointlyidentifi ed abnormal behaviour, revealing that 11.25% of users exhibited co nfirmed inorganic behaviour.
