    查看更多>>摘要：对于高中英语，阅读是理解和吸收书面信息的最重要手段，是对语言的一项认知过程，可以训练学生的思维能力、理解能力、概括能力与判断能力，"侧重培养阅读能力"是教学大纲规定的高中英语教学目的之一，也是今后教师在教学过程中必将实施的，提高阅读效能在高中英语教学中是一项重要任务。拓展英语阅读空间，丰富英语课堂的教学形式，对学生的语言输入起到加强的作用，形成一个培养和提高学生阅读能力的有机载体。作为教师应以动态的、开放的和全面的眼光来审视学生阅读能力的培养，搭建有效的综合性学习平台，全面培养学生的英语阅读素养，从而提高阅读能力，让学生的英语能力能进一步提高。

    A Study of Words Learning Strategies in Middle Schools

    查看更多>>摘要：vocabulary learning strategy is a hot topic in the field of English teaching since 1970s. To understand the attitudes of junior high school students to vocabulary learning in the context of effective use of vocabulary learning strategies, this study was conducted at Tai Long Shan middle school. This article mainly introduces people's attitudes towards vocabulary learning and discusses them. Word modification, guessing meaning from context, organizing vocabularies effectively, using dictionaries and management strategies. The final results show that the use of vocabulary learning strategies in English teaching is very worrying. According to the new curriculum standard, teachers should adopt new strategies in English teaching instead of traditional English teaching methods. Students' learning efficiency. Therefore, teachers and students must strive to learn scientific vocabulary learning strategies.

    A Contrastive Genre Analysis for Abstracts of Legal Articles in English and Chinese Journals

    查看更多>>摘要：The abstract plays a decisive role in academic writing and reading for many readers can get a clear sketch by just reading the abstract. However, few studies have been done on abstracts of legal articles currently, let alone a specified discussion in genre analysis between English one and Chinese. In view of this, this study aims to analyze the macro-structures of abstracts both in English and Chinese, and compare generic structures and linguistic features of abstracts between the two. Then the possible factors which caused these differences will be mentioned. Based on Bhatia's IMRC mode, this study analyzes 20 pieces of legal articles from top legal academic journals at home and abroad and finds that no matter in English or Chinese, the macro-structure of this kind of abstracts all basically tally with Bhatia' IMRC model. Due to different writing methods and the way of thinking as well as writing habits, there are some distinguished differences between English and Chinese legal article abstracts in the frequency and distribution of each move as well as the linguistic features.

Both parties will endeavor to win the most of benefits while maintaining cooperation with the other. To best manage and control dialogues in competitive situations, a linguistic approach—the Cooperative Principle (the CP) would bring significant insights for businessmen. The thesis aims to study the deviation of the cooperative principle in intercultural business negotiation and find two strategies to help the negotiation go smoothly.

    Evolution of English Personal Pronoun

    查看更多>>摘要：This article studies the evolution of English personal pronoun in Great Britain and the United States. The data is collected from 14 books. The evolution is divided into three periods chronologically: the period of Old English, the period of Middle English and the period of Modern English. The results show that the evolution of English personal pronoun is the period of inflection simplification and influenced by the dialects. The paradigm of American personal pronoun has fewer changes than that of Great Britain.
